So what exactly is Proburn ?
Pro-Burn is a service which allows you to take
control of your Karaoke music. You can make your own
Karaoke discs and fill them up with 70 minutes worth of songs. The facility
lets you choose your own disc title (e.g. John's Karaoke Favourites)
which is actually printed on your finished disc.
What songs can I choose from ?
Proburn now have the largest selection of songs in the world -
almost 40,000 at the time of writing (May 2007) and growing all
the time. The world's leading brands are all included - Sunfly,
Easy Karaoke, Zoom, Sound Choice, Music Maestro, DK Karaoke and
Priddis as well as some international brands including French,
Portuguese, German and Hispanic titles.
How many tracks can I fit on my disc ?
Load as much as you can into the 70 minutes available on the CD.
It's really easy to do that - our site shows you how much time
you have left as you fill up your disc.
How do I make more than one disc during the same online shopping
trip?
Our system is designed to keep things as simple as possible -
this means that we ask you to make one disc at a time. Once you
have completed the cycle of preparing a disc and adding it to your
shopping basket you can then continue to shop and start disc 2.
What's the format for these discs ? Do I need a special player
to play them ?
Proburn uses the world's most popular Karaoke standard - CDG.
The music from CDG (CD+Graphic) discs can play on any CD or DVD
player at all. However, to get the guide lyrics on screen your
player must have the ability to read CDG. Every Karaoke player
that we sell is CDG compatible.
How much does it cost for ProBurn Custom CDG
Disc?
£2.35 per song (there's a minimum charge of £23.50
per disc, so you're better off choosing at least 10 tracks)
When will I receive my disc ?
Within 2 working days (UK), 3 working days (Ireland) and 5-6 working
days (rest of the world).
Are these discs legal ?
Yes, of course! All tracks are fully licensed via the MCPS (mechanical
copyright protection society) who ensure that all the artists make
gains with their songwriting credits.
What are my guarantees with these discs ?
All discs have a manufacturers defect guarantee for 1 year, as
with all of the products we sell. Your guarantee ensures that your
disc will maintain perfect audio and visual reproduction during
that time. As you'd expect, there are reasonable mis-use exceptions
such as excessive scratching or spillage stains.
What if I make a mistake with my tracklist ? Can I exchange the
disc ?
All of these discs are completely unique to you and therefore
cannot be re-sold. We cannot, therefore, be flexible with returns.
The onus is on you to make sure that you order the correct tracks.
There are plenty opportunities for you to check things over. Even
after you press submit, you may still have time to get in touch
with us before the disc is actually burned.
